First of all, how are you and your family doing?

Vivek Raina: The family & I are doing well. We are nearly at the end of the pandemic now and looking to get back to the normal lives we were used to before.

Tell us about you, your career, and how you joined Foreignerds.com.

Vivek Raina: I joined the company a few years back. I have been an integral part of the leadership here ever since and enjoy what I do every day. I have a diverse background in tech, SaaS, and the Banking space. It is a rare combo, many would say. It has been a rollercoaster, but I’m happy where I am at the moment.

How does Foreignerds.com market its product/services online?

Vivek Raina: We use different marketing tactics. It is a combination of organic traffic through SEO, planned reach outs through email campaigns, Advertising on platforms like search engines, LinkedIn, etc. That, combined with a lot of referrals we get through our existing clients, does the trick for us.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how did you get through it?

Vivek Raina: It affected us severely. But we are nearing the end now. We had to re-calibrate into a work-from-home culture and ensure there were no efficiency drops. I had to pacify clients who were hesitant due to the way the market was behaving and the uncertainty we were living in. But it’s all good now!

AdWords is an advertising service created by Google for businesses wanting to display ads on Google and its advertising network. Adsense works in that it allows you to collect money for displaying advertisements from other companies based on how much traffic your site can generate and how well-targeted your audience is. This means that if you have content and visitors who are more likely to buy products online than most other sites, you might get compensated significantly more than what you would get at another site with less targeted traffic.

So, AdWords is mainly used by companies to market their products while AdSense allows you to make money from your website without putting in any effort. As for why they are useful, it is because not only can you get paid per click or per impression, both of which are very popular forms of online earnings, but also with the integration of Google Analytics you get statistics for tracking web traffic and conversions.
