What are the 5 Crucial Steps to Boost Your WordPress SEO?

When it comes to SEO, WordPress is king. When it comes to SEO, WordPress is king. WordPress contains its own built-in  search engine optimization methods that are more powerful than most people realize. If your site’s content is unique, you’re using images with alt text and using the right keywords in your permalinks, pages, and posts you can make sure Google knows exactly what your site is about.

What are the 5 crucial steps to boost your WordPress SEO?

1) Use All Keywords in Post Titles

As stated before, when someone searches for something on Google they will be directed towards results that contain their search term somewhere in their content. This means if you want people to find you, you need to use your keywords in your post titles.

This will not only help other people find your site when they are searching for something related to what your content is about but it will also help Google determine exactly what the focus of your content is. If multiple sites have very similar titles and Google doesn’t know which one to show first, it may go with the site that has the most search terms in its title.

2) Use Phrase

Like I said before if multiple sites have very similar titles and Google doesn’t know which one to show first, it may go with the site that has the most search terms in its title. So even if you don’t think your site is related to the post with a very popular phrase in its title, it would be in your best interest to try and use that phrase. This will increase the chances that when people search for that phrase they will find you instead of someone else.

3) Use All Keywords in Post Titles

Google doesn’t like repetition either, so if they see too many times the same word appearing over and over again in your titles they might not rank you as high as they could because there wouldn’t be enough variety. It’s important to make sure all of your keywords appear throughout your post and not just all together at the beginning or end where everyone can see it. Using them throughout your content will help Google show you for more than just one or two words.

4) Make Full Use of Short Title Tags

Short title tags are still important, but not as much as they used to be.That’s because so many people would see the first site first on the list of results when they searched for something related to that phrase.

Nowadays, with social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, etc., all using title tags to show their content, people are generally scrolling down the list of results before clicking on anything. So longer title tags that provide more information about what your content is actually about will help you out-rank sites that have short titles even if they have more backlinks pointing to them.

5) Make Full Use of Short Title Tags

When writing a post it’s easy to keep thinking “I’m only going to put one or two keywords here”, but don’t do that!
If you are not using all of the space available for your post title then Google might not know exactly what your site is about and you will lose out on rankings because of it. sure to use every last character of your title tag to the best of your ability.

Conclusion

The most important thing to remember is that Google now uses title tags as a way to determine what your content is about, not just as a way of summarising it. So make sure you use all keywords throughout your post and don’t worry so much about repeating them in your post titles. Doing these 5 things can help you rank better on search engines for years to come!

Everything you need to know about button design

Buttons design are an amazing invention: he poked his finger and the screen lit up on the phone, the car started working, the rocket flew to the other side of the planet … and the user does not even need to understand the mechanisms or algorithms of all the magic. In digital, buttons have become a means of controlling digital space – easily, unobtrusively, and familiarly 🙂

Despite the fact that modern household appliances and other devices are moving to touch control, in the near future physical buttons will not disappear anywhere. They have already formed our behavioral habits and therefore it is intuitive and easy for us to use virtual buttons.

Buttons vs Links

Often we see a sad picture – links are used instead of buttons, and vice versa. The distinction between buttons and links matters:

  • Links are used when you navigate to another location, such as the “view all” page, “my profile” page, etc.
  • Buttons communicate the action that the user can perform: “send”, “combine”, “create new”, “upload”, etc.

The state of a button informs the user of its status.

Each button state should clearly define its capabilities. One state should be different from the other, as well as from the elements surrounding it, but at the same time, it should not radically change the button itself or create visual noise.

What are the states and what do they report:

Normal – the element is interactive and enabled.

Focus – The user has selected an element.

Hover – The user has placed the cursor on an interactive element.

Active (or clicked)  – the user clicked on the button.

In Progress/Loading – The action takes time to complete and the action is in progress.

Disabled/Inactive – The element is not currently interactive, but can be enabled when performing certain actions.

Button styles

The most commonly used are rectangular buttons with rounded corners that are easy to recognize and look good next to the input field. Choosing the right style for a button will depend on the purpose, the platform, and their guidelines (we’re talking about the iOS and Android guides).

Styles speak about the importance of action

Styles are used to distinguishing more important actions from less important ones. Create a hierarchy of actions to help the user navigate through the choices. It can be one prominent button (this style is often referred to as “primary”) and several media “secondary” and “tertiary” actions with a lower accent.

Not all buttons need to be in the primary style

Typically, a designer will take the most frequently selected button by users, give it a primary style, and give it a focus state. This helps users complete their tasks faster and points to the right choice.

The exceptions are cases where all choices are equal or the action has serious consequences in order to thoughtlessly agree to it, and it cannot be canceled. By making both buttons in the same style, you force the user to read the labels rather than click out of habit on the largest or brightest of them.

Don’t make the user think

“Captain Obvious” on duty: the interface should be clear to users, and not become a quest and a labyrinth. Over the years of using various devices and other products, we have formed a certain idea of u200bu200bhow buttons should look and function. Over-creating and deviating greatly from what is considered “standard” will lead to confusion and, as a result, user errors.

Avoid using the same color for interactive and non-interactive elements. If interactive and non-interactive elements have the same color, it’s hard for people to know where to click.

Consistency around the head

This is one of the most powerful UI principles – when everything works the same way, users don’t have to worry about what happens after clicking.

Consistency will help minimize the number of errors or avoid them altogether. Predictability in the sequence of actions will give users a sense of control and confidence that they will achieve their goals with your product. When you create buttons in primary, secondary, and tertiary style, try to combine them with some common elements: color, shape, etc. Try not only to be consistent within the design concept (or – wow – design system ), but also be aware of where and for what these buttons will be used.

Make buttons the right size

Folk wisdom says: “Do it right – it will be fine.” Clicking a button should be easy, and if the user cannot do such a simple action, or there is a chance of clicking on an adjacent element by mistake, this will lead to a negative experience.

In most cases, it is recommended to make touch areas at least 48×48 dp (dp or dip (density-independent pixels) is an abstract unit of measure that helps make an application or website look the same on different screens and resolutions. In other words, the ratio finger and pixel button). Physically, this is about 9 mm, regardless of the screen size. The recommended target element size for a touch screen is at least 7-10 mm.

If the button is an icon, then make sure that the touch area extends beyond the visual bounds of the element. That is, you do not need to exactly aim at the pixels inside the icon but just poke at the place where this icon is located. This applies not only to mobile devices or tablets, where the main tool is a finger but also to devices where we use a mouse or a stylus.

Button design accessibility

The size of the target area is one of the factors affecting accessibility (also font size, color, and contrast).

There are many tools available to help you easily check how well design elements are performing. Here are a few of them:

  • check for contrast
  • color check
  • check for the contrast between the two colors
  • multiple factor check
  • checking the availability of colors for certain visual diseases

The designer must work closely with the development team to make the buttons work well with screen readers. The button should be used for interactive elements that respond to the user’s response. By adding role=”button” the element will appear as a button in a screen reader.

Gestures are getting more and more popular

Gestures allow users to interact with an application using touch. Using touch as an alternative way to complete a task can save time and provide tactile control. Although some gestures, such as swiping to launch actions, double-tap to like, or long-press, are being used more and more every day, they are still not very obvious to the average user. They should be used as an alternative way to perform an action for more advanced users.

The caption on the button should encourage action.

What is written on the buttons is just as important as how they look. This is again a matter of frustration and user error.

A good button label motivates users to take action. It’s best to use verbs and label the button with what it actually does. It’s as if the button is asking the user, “Would you like to [add to cart]?” or “Would you like to [confirm order]?”.

Avoid flat “Yes” and “No” or overly generic names like “Submit” (what to send? where to send? what to send for?).

What to put in the beginning: OK/Cancel or Cancel/OK?

Well, Kamon. Both options are just choices, and designers can argue about their preferences for hours.

  • Positioning the first button with “OK” means maintaining the natural reading order. For example, Windows puts “OK” first.
  • Positioning the OK button second means improving dynamics. This helps users evaluate all options before taking action and helps avoid mistakes and hasty decisions. For example, Apple puts the “OK” button second.

Any of the options has strong arguments in its favor, and none of them will lead to disaster.

Don’t disable buttons

Everyone has been in this situation where they are stuck on the screen for a few seconds or minutes, trying to figure out what is wrong and why nothing can be done due to a blocked inactive button and what needs to be done to make everything work.

Instead of deactivating buttons (for example, you wait for the user to fill in the fields), write what needs to be done to move forward. If the button has an inactive status, and there are no prompts, this can lead the user to a stupor. After all, the logic here is simple: what I see is what I think. And I see that since the button is inactive, then the whole form is inactive.

With the active button and hints, everything will become clearer: I must enter what they want from me, and then click the button.

Obvious but true

Buttons are everything. The user did not understand or made a mistake, and you lost the client. The user is tired of guessing or missing buttons, and you’ve lost a sale. UX / UI is not only about clear and beautiful design concepts but also about such small details that form this “clear and beautiful”.

The material was prepared based on the article Button Design – UI component series.

Foreignerds Inc’s Year in Review

The Indian startup ecosystem has seen a record-breaking year, with the second wave of the Covid pandemic in March and April this year alongside the Omicron scare at the end Of the Decade leaving everyone anxious about what’s coming next.

The Indian startup ecosystem is on an endless journey to success. It has seen many milestones and successes in the last few years, but 2021 will be remembered as one of its most incredible points when we look back at all that has been accomplished!

The world of technology is always changing, and we’re here to cover it all. This year has been no exception! We delivered more than 3500 projects in diverse industries like Automotive, Real Estate, Medical, Education, Banking, Retail, B2B, B2C, and more.

“Welcome to the final month of 2021. What a ride it’s been, right? I hope you’ve enjoyed my take on our successes, failures – and why (I think) we should continue to expect them in the future.”

What were some of your team’s accomplishments this year?

“Our biggest success was putting into practice all that we learned. We stepped up our game when it came to executing strategy; knowing what worked for us last year made things easier (and more effective this go-around).” What do you mean by “putting into practice”?

“We executed.” …Executed?

“Yes…we ‘executed’ our strategy. It also helped that we learned from our past mistakes and refined what was working for us.”

Looking back, what would you say were some of your biggest failures this year?

“We struggled with maintaining consistent growth. During so much change – and with so many new players in the space – it was tough to stay on top of things. But we’re hopeful that 2021 will be a more prosperous year for us.” What do you think is necessary for consistent growth?

“I think it’s important to always be learning, adapting, and evolving. The market is constantly changing, so you can’t afford to stand still. You have to be curious and relentless in your pursuit of knowledge; that’s how you stay ahead.”

OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

In the face of unprecedented events, our team pulled together to make important progress. We achieved so much in a year that seemed like it would be impossible at times – especially with all these crazy things happening around us constantly!

Here are a few of our wins:

AS AN ORGANIZATION, WE’VE SEEN AMAZING GROWTH!

This year has been one of the most exciting and fulfilling years in our company’s history. We expanded service offerings, and grew by another awesome human being which allowed us to increase productivity even more than before! And we’re not done yet: there are still many things left on this list from all those who have inspired us these last few months – thank you so much for your support!!

WE PERFECTED OUR CRAFT

In the time of COVID, marketing had to change and we adapted quickly. We helped our customers pivot so they could stay in touch with new clients through social media communication or by providing them with more information about their product online; it’s all up to you!

We love a challenge and keeping audiences engaged. That is why we were so excited when the executives challenged us to innovate for them to stay up-to-date with changing times! It has helped strengthen our skill set tremendously, dare say maybe even under pressure too?

WE GREW STRONGER & CLOSER AS A TEAM.

This year has been challenging, and I think we were all a little worried that our closeness would fade with us working remotely for so long. But it certainly hasn’t! There are no days when we don’t talk or text each other at least once in between meetings; not even during the pandemic (It’s good to know you care).

It’s been quite the year, and we’ve had our ups and downs. But as always Foreignerds stuck together to make it through! The pandemic was tough but with some good vibes from everyone at home base camp, things are looking up again 🙂

OUR REFLECTIONS

A lot was going on in 2021. And it taught us some valuable lessons about marketing principles that are more important than ever before!

The following are some of the best ones that stand out to us:

CONSISTENT, AND CLEAR COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR CLIENT IS KEY

The pandemic changed how we all do business, but it’s those who kept their customers in the loop and informed with timely updates that had an easier time with things. And as seen by this recent crisis (and others), a solid communications plan will help you when urgent messages need to be sent out for your audience:

In this instance, your clients want to know:

  • If you were open.
  • When you are open.
  • How they could get the services from you
  • And what needs to be expected when they contact you (e.g. wearing a face mask, keeping social distancing, etc.).

We were so happy to help our clients build out and execute communication strategies this past year. It gave them a solid foundation for future use, which will only get better with age as well!

Communication is key during a pandemic, and you never know who might be checking. Your customers want to know what they can expect from you no matter the situation- even if it’s just in case of an outbreak! So make sure that both yourself as well as any customer service rep are always on point when communicating with each other; whether through social media channels or email, inboxes don’t matter so long as everyone has access at all times.

Keeping in touch with your customers is vital for the success of any business. This includes answering their questions and addressing concerns quickly so they have time to make other plans if needed, as well as expanding on what you said when necessary about new services or products offered at your establishment!

Having good customer service isn’t just important- it’s essential if we want people to come back again soon (and tell all those friends!).

If you’re still on the fence about getting serious with digital marketing, now is a great time to start.

Digital Marketing – A Powerful Tool

Digital marketing is a powerful tool for any brand to use to increase their awareness and bring in new customers. It’s not just the only way, however, it became everything when trade shows stopped having this as an option after 2021 due to what we know now about human interaction being so necessary nowadays.

Building an online audience that cares about your business is not easy. It’s a lot of work, but it will pay off in the long run if you take this step toward success with a marketing strategy today!

You can change your business in a flash with our easy-to-use, mobile-responsive website. We’ll help you stay up-to-date and informed so that when the world changes around us again – as it inevitably will–you won’t need any extra effort at all!

When you need to come up with new and innovative ideas for your product, the listening audience will be there every step of their journey.

When times get tough and you need to ask your customers for support, they are waiting with an engaged community that is ready.

The future of your company is in digital marketing. The world has changed, and if you want to be successful now more than ever before then developing a strong online presence should happen right away!

OUR PREDICTIONS

The future of marketing is bright, with these five key roles to ensure a successful business in 2022.

NEED FOR FLEXIBLE MARKETING PLANS

Who would have thought that in just one year your marketing plans could change so much? We all know how fast things happen these days – but if you’re not prepared for it then accidents will happen. It’s important to be able to pivot when necessary and learn from them quickly because circumstances never stay stagnant forever!

You can’t always get what you want, but sometimes with a little innovation and creativity, anything is possible. As the new year approaches keep this mindset going as it could be just what inspires your marketing strategy for 2022!

Might 2021 or 2023 also be perfect time investments to help guide decisions along?

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF TELLING A GREAT STORY

The future is about connecting through the story. In a world filled with content, we need human connection and storytelling more than ever before to make an impact on people’s lives in positive ways for our business successes together!

As the year progresses, it seems like we are drifting further and further apart. Not only that but there is a time when people can’t seem to come together for one cause or another which has caused even more Division among humanity as well!

We all want to feel like we belong, and when the connection is humanized with vulnerability it can be incredibly powerful.

The future is bright for those who share their stories. This year, we hope you seize the opportunity to communicate your mission and brand in a way that resonates with customers!

You are not just a brand. You have stories to tell, and we hope that in 2022 you will seize the opportunity to share those stories with your customers so they can get to know YOU-not only as part of our marketing efforts but also on an individual level!

People will always connect with people (not companies). No matter what, pandemic or no-pandemics there is an unbreakable human connection that cannot be escaped.

The future is bright for us and we can’t wait to share more stories with you in 2022. We also want this opportunity as a send-off from one year of success, wishing each one of our readers all the luck over the new year!

We discussed with Vivek Raina – VP, CTO, and Co-Founder at Foreignerds, which is a leading mobile app development company, and here is a glimpse of what he said about it.

  1. Let us know first, how are you and your family doing in this COVID-19 situation?

Vivek Raina: My mom got infected with the virus around 5 months ago. She suffered and was then hospitalized for approximately 20 days. When it comes to senior citizens, it takes some time to go.

That is my personal experience of Covid. Consequently, all well since then. We are taking all precautions as well as in-home lockdown.

  1. Let us know about you, your career, how you discovered Foreignerds.

Vivek Raina: I am a VP, CTO, and Co-Founder of Foreignerds. I have spent 15 years with the industry and realized the potentials through those times. Then, we mutually decided that it is time to do something better, and we boomed 6 years ago. Now, we are working with clients from most industries and putting value into their businesses.

  1. How do Foreignerds originate?

Vivek Raina: We originate through prerequisite and try to discover gaps that are time-taking, create problems, and go unnoticed. We try to tackle them through technological solutions and implementation of processes, and we have done that efficiently for ourselves and our customers for the long term.

  1. How the coronavirus pandemic influences your business, and how are you fighting with it?

Vivek Raina: Enormous. Since the local lockdown is here, we had to close offices and transformed our operations into a remote working environment, and that’s actually not so easy. In fact, we utilized tools and all the supports we could feasibly get to make it a clear transition. We have seen a little drop in Productivity when working from home, and anybody who tells you inversely is lying. Well, we’ve taken comprehensive measures to handle that, and that is where everyone cope is with organizations of our size. 6-7 hours spent on the phone, meetings, and every senior management staff.

  1. Have you taken a tough decision? If yes, then what are the lessons you learned?

Vivek Raina: Yes, we did. We’d to let individuals go because they couldn’t manage the culture of the work from home. We had to spend lots of time educating individuals and dealing with IT problems and Google Meet, or Zoom calls. We had to spend lots of funds on tracking, monitoring, and compliance tools, and we’ve accomplished some helpful insights on how to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and the new normal. When the Covid-19 surge begins and the lockdown starts, we have numerous troubles. Now, one year has been over with fighting these situations, and I must tell you that it has been very difficult to deal with it.

  1. What software, tools, and management capabilities are you utilizing to navigate this crisis?

Vivek Raina: Tools like Teramind, Microsoft Teams, OneSpan, ActivTrak, among usual suspects i.e. Jira, Slack, Bitrix, etc.

  1. Who are your main competitors? What is your strategy to stay in the competition?

Vivek Raina: We always try to compete with ourselves and try to make ourselves better from our past experiences and yearly outcomes. That’s what we trust as a company and as an organization. The web services and outsourcing space that we work in is an age-old business and you have to do things inversely and in a better approach to stay focused and be efficient. So, we don’t focus on what others are doing, but people do look at us!

  1. Your final thoughts?

Vivek Raina: We are known to be Foreignerds because we are a gang of nerds working from a foreign space, catering to our worldwide customers and offering great quality outsourcing services at affordable and moderate cost.

  1. Your website?

Google Stopped Working Without Prior Information And We Stopped Working From Home And The Office

Just another day while I was working on my laptop using Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs and several other apps and services provided by Google, I was interrupted without any prior notice..by Google itself! I lost connection and refreshed several times till I failed to restore the connection for accessing the Google Doc on which I was working.  I restarted the laptop and I failed to view the Google Doc. Shockingly, I called my senior to inform her that I cannot log in to Gmail and I got to know that at the same time around 5.30 pm today i.e. 14.12.2020 Google suddenly went down temporarily and all the services were shut down for about an hour.

Recommendations –Google to Rollout a Core Algorithm Update December 2020

Yes, it happened with many of us whether we are working from home or the office when almost it was time to submit our day end reports, all the services and apps provided by Google were not accessible and failed to operate. Many businesses might have hampered, while some got ‘’time-off’’ to refresh. However, as of now, no information is available online at search engines, news channels or social media pages.  This move by Google surely came as shocking ‘’surprise’’ and became the most talked about topic of discussion amongst employees next to the Coffee machines at workplaces.

With mobile phones becoming an intrinsic part of everybody’s life, the app market has been recording a boom in the number of mobile applications. From shopping to paying bills online, from tracking fitness to finding routes to destinations, everything is just a few taps away now. Every other day, millions of apps are being uploaded on Google Play and App Store, and with advancements in technologies, there is still so much more that can be achieved. Well, here are a few mobile application ideas that we feel can be game-changers in 2021:

On that note let’s take a look at some new mobile app ideas:

  • Talking camera for blind people. An application that uses the phone camera to analyze the real-world scenario and then uses its artificial intelligence technology to create a real-time audible experience. This application will work on the same concept as Microsoft’s Seeing UI which is an artificial intelligence application. Just like Seeing UI, this app could also read texts, barcodes, and features of a person next to you. Unlike Seeing UI this app should be released on both Android and ios platforms.  Get the ui ux services here.
  • An application that’ll use your phone’s camera to take a scanned photo and based on that picture the app creates a digital projection of yours and will suggest the best outfit in real-time. Although many applications do that, the distinctive property of this application will lie in its accuracy.
  • A voice-modulating application that’ll work whenever you receive a call. To do this, an application will have to work continuously with the phone application and that’s an issue that occurs with all the voice-modulating apps on any platform. None of these apps work as of now, but it will be cool to have one in the market.
  • A meal planning application can be befitting for users worldwide. This application will suggest suitable meals considering the ingredients you have on your shelf, in real-time.
  • A fun application that uses the phone camera to record a video and simultaneously imposes it on any YouTube video. It can be described as an amalgamation of a camera app and a motion-tracking tool.
  • An automated transcription tool could be one of the best applications right now. Think of an app that can transcribe any audio or presentation and transcribes it in real-time. After the presentation or call is ended, it’ll save the transcript in a folder in your system or phone.
  • An application to connect NGOs in a particular area with any local volunteer present in that particular area.
  • Suppose there’s an application that can freeze your entire phone once it’s stolen. For an application to do that, it must be able to survive the factory data reset and once it’s activated, it’ll unlock the phone only by a password that’s set by the owner.
  • An application that can sow all the happening places and events in a parameter set by the user. It then uses machine learning technology to come up with events according to the user’s preference.
  • For all the food lovers out there, an application uses machine learning technology to recommend the best place for a user to eat. Via machine learning, it’ll understand the ordering patterns and favorite food or cuisine of the user and suggests discounts and the best nearby place to have it. It’ll also update the user about upcoming food festivals that features his favorite food and cuisine.
  • An application that links with a device that’s placed inside a car and via Bluetooth the device connects with the phone. Now, this device tells any mechanical fault in your car and updates on your mobile phone.
  • Artificial intelligence-based psychotherapy applications can be beneficial for a lot of users out there. By using machine learning, this application will come up with well-constructed counter-questions to the user’s issues. This application will be restricted to those who take a subscription and the packages will be divided on an hourly basis.
  • For all the students, professors, scientists, and engineers, an application that can identify a particular formula would be cool. This application will run on machine learning and using its database, it’ll identify any mathematical formula and tell the user exactly what they’re using.
  • If we’re talking about an application that can identify a mathematical formula, then it won’t be wrong to think about an application that reads the photo of an outfit, book, or anything of materialistic value and tells the user about the nearby stores from where they can buy it.
  • An application that can act as a virtual assistant for your home or workspace. This application will use its artificial intelligence technology and will work as a centralized system for your home. Unlike Google Home and Apple Pod, it’ll have a fair bandwidth.

These are some of the few mobile application development trends that are likely to grow, even in the coming year and the future as well.

With nations all around the globe relaxing the restrictions in their individual states, businesses have started to get back on their feet but there is still economic uncertainty. Potential buyers and even loyal customers are still hesitating to buy. Most of the nations have been in quarantine for the last few months. This had led to a huge surge in the number of internet users. Now more than ever, people are using the internet for things they want to know, learn or buy. Because of this shift, business owners are now forced to re-invent their strategies, especially Digital Strategies, and take a second look at how they should navigate the business.

Speaking of which takes us to the next discussion. Let’s take a look at some pointers to discuss what a business should do to digitally work its way up during this global pandemic and how it should sharpen its Digital Marketing Efforts:

  • Focus on SEO:

`One of the foremost points to remember for all organizations should be to focus on search engine optimization. Now that every user is confined to his/her house, they have an ample amount of time for doing their research regarding a particular product or a service. This is the time when they’ll probably go through every or most of the websites on a search page. Well, as the chances of them checking out a website rise, it’s more of an opportunity for any business to make required tweaking on the content. Improving your previous content and creating a fresh one with all the right components like proper usage of keywords, covering all the facts concisely and presentation can be beneficial in the long run.

  • Build A Perpetual Presence on Social Media:

Building a social media presence is a fundamental requirement if yours is a business that’s heavily impacted by the Internet and/or a large portion of your customer base consists of Internet users. A perpetual social media presence refers to the idea of being constantly active on social media platforms. Some of the ways to do so could be:

  1. Increasing Retargeting List Length: The length of a retargeting list consists of thirty days, but increasing the waiting period can help you get long-lasting customers. Even though most of the users aren’t buying right now, they’re constantly spending time on research. And when your website comes up with updates on products and services in correlation with your current situation, it gets the users hooked.
  2. Introducing New Retargeting Ads: This one is more of an extension of the previous one. Updating your products in view of the current situation calls for interactive promotion. One of the most important tools is creating promotional videos concerning the pandemic. This creates an emotional connection with your visitors.
  3. Stress on Your Creative Team: Focusing on your creative team to come up with innovative content is the most important thing. Creating innovative content covers traditional content and advertisement campaigns.
  • Start Stimulating Consumption:

In this pandemic, one of the toughest situations is getting through with sales. With all the physical stores looked up, there are a few that are still open for business. Now, the problem is, they charge reasonably higher than they used to, and due to the lack of abundance, the people who’re choosing physical stores over virtual ones are paying considerably high every time. If yours is a food delivery website, this is a perfect opportunity to come up with strategies to stimulate consumption like discounts and package schemes. This will lure in more and more customers and increase the volume of sales.

  • Create Remarketing Campaigns:

For every organization, a loyal customer is the most valuable asset. If your business operates heavily on the online platform, you understand the importance of a long-lasting customer. In this pandemic, every organization should take this step diligently. Creating remarketing campaigns to reconnect with past visitors can be very beneficial to turn them into loyal customers. Using Microsoft marketing, YouTube campaigns, and local display campaigns can be a way of approaching past visitors. And if your Marketing Campaigns consist of new remarketing ads and improved content presentation, it will get the visitor hooked to your organization.

  • Take time to align your digital marketing efforts:

Talking about digital marketing, every point we discussed is in some way or the other related to that. But there’s more to it. Aligning your digital marketing efforts according to the pandemic is important to improve your brand image. Some of the untapped components that need attention are:

  1. Creating interactive videos, images, and carousel ads
  2. Provide the audience with detailed information about current products and services.
  3. Answering FAQs related to questions regarding how the business is taking preventive measures.
  4. Making sure that your advertising strategies are aligned with relative searches and keywords that are trending right now.

Engaging with AI And Machine Learning Frameworks

What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)? How is it different from Machine Learning?’ As we have seen in most of the sci-fi movies, Artificial Intelligence is not confined to robotics. What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)? How is it different from Machine Learning?’ As we have seen in most of the sci-fi movies, Artificial Intelligence is not confined to robotics. On the contrary, it has a wide spectrum and machine learning is a part of it. Even though machine learning is an integral part of AI, it has a separate identity of its own. In today’s digitized world, where the internet is one of the most important technologies and is used as one too, Artificial Intelligence is a significant leap towards challenging the potential of web development. Artificial Intelligence is simply a system that’s intelligent enough to react to external stimuli, remotely like a human being. If we think about this very definition, we’ll now have in our minds, a variety of products in the form of software and mobile applications that have AI integrated into their program.

Machine learning, on the other hand, is the process to make a particular system expert in a stipulated field with the help of a designated algorithm. Suppose there is a computer system and a developer wants it to recognize his dog. For that, he’ll install an algorithm having details about different breeds, feeding with it, and photos of different dogs from different angles. Now, the computer can recognize his user’s dog using his camera, but if he brings a cat in front of it, he fails miserably. This is where AI has leverage over machine learning. AI is different than just making a system mug up a piece of particular information. It’s like giving the system a new brain altogether. Let’s discuss some points in this respect to better understand both aspects of web development.

  • IMPORTANCE OF MACHINE LEARNING:

Although machine learning is a narrow aspect compared to AI, it has many applications both in day-to-day activities and other technical activities. If we understand the point further using a couple of examples, let’s take Google for example. Google is a company that has integrated both Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies. Speaking about the former, Google Translate is a prominent example of Google Engaging with Machine LearningBefore google translate came to light, it was just a thought that any application could understand a foreign language and translate it into one’s native language. But Google Translate not only met this challenge but also came up with a technology that could understand the style of written text and reply to it according to the user’s command. Not only Google Translate there are many applications like handwriting recognition software.

  • How is Artificial Intelligence shaping the future?

Now that we’ve come down to Artificial Intelligence let’s take a look at its latest trends. Let’s take the cell phone manufacturing company Apple for instance. It surely makes one of the best technologically advanced smartphones. An iPhone, its voice assistant Siri is a beautiful example of AI. iPhone was the first smartphone with a voice assistant and that too inbuilt in its software. So the real question here is, ‘What came into Steve Jobs that he came up with such an idea?’ Having a smartphone with a voice assistant was the need of the demography back then, not was it a perpetual issue. So what was it? I was the curiosity of a human being to explore the depth of present-day technology. As soon as the internet was invented, people witnessed that they could do so much with their capabilities and now with the internet at their disposal, they can achieve anything they want. This very motivation fueled up the idea of web development which gradually led us to create bionic equipment, humanoid robots, drones, and much more.

Artificial intelligence not only eased the process of web development but promoted breakthrough projects like Google Brain. Google Brain is a deep-learning artificial intelligence research team formed in the 2010s with the sole purpose of enhancing present-day technology and solving current technological setbacks. One of the most interesting projects of Google Brain was the Artificial-intelligence-devised encryption system. Under this project, Google Brain ran a couple of experiments that involved two sets of AIs who would devise their own cryptographic algorithms to protect their communications from another AI. The catch in this scenario was that they weren’t given specific instructions about the encryption of their messages. This breakthrough is yet to be confirmed but we can fathom the fact that artificial intelligence is shaping the future in a way that we can never imagine. And humans are Engaging with AI and Machine Learning frameworks now more than ever.

This shows our progressive nature and throws light on our dynamic thought process which makes us adaptive to the changing environment. If we take a closer look at it, both technology and humans are approaching the future together and that’s because of the curiosity we were born with.

The booming business market calls for smart decisions to keep in check the level of competition by making smart business decisions. Business Intelligence allows you to do the same. It is the process of gathering all the data that an organization garners from all its activities. After all the data is gathered, it is then turned into visual data for better analysis and finally, this analysis provides the business with actionable business insights that eventually allow a representative with smarter business development decisions for better performance of the business altogether. ‘What is the need for business intelligence?’ one might ask, considering the conventional way of practicing business activities and exercising business decisions. Well, in this constantly changing environment where everything is going digitized, every organization be it an established player or a budding one, should buck up and accept the challenge of the current scenario. To perform BI activities every organization looks for professionals who’ve mastered the knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools and have faced the challenges in real-time by learning about how to tackle them. Let’s take a look at some of these tools so that we can understand what they are and why we need professionals in this particular field.

  • Tableau: It’s a BI tool that allows a professional to distinguish complex trend patterns so that they can convert them into innovative business insights that’ll help their clients to formulate adequate decisions. Creating dashboards in Tableau is not much of a technical approach as it is available on almost all devices to connect with more and more users. The dashboards can be implemented by simply using drag-and-drop fields.

Some of the features that make it distinguishable from others are:

  1. It supports apt visualization:

Tableau allows professionals to select data and switch between visualizations so that they can come up with the best visual approach for the data.

  1. Tableau gives users different ways to answer questions when they’re going through the data visualizations. This enhances the process of discovering particular data.
  2. Tableau offers a variety of implementing and consulting services for enterprise-level deployment.
  3. Tableau offers its end-users to create customized formulas that are not available on most of the tools.
  4. Tableau allows the number of native connectors (individuals) to easily pull, cleanse, and correlate data from any source they can score without having to create any custom code.
  • Informatica: Informatica is a data integration tool that is based on the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) model, which means it covers the extraction of data from different sources and then transforms it into a structure that can be used for report analysis.

Some of the features that make it a highly useful tool are:

  1. It gathers all the data from all the possible sources a business is associated with and then loads it into the targeted sources where the data is supposed to be.
  2. Informatica’s ETL structure helps it to stand as a tool that is capable of handling a huge amount of data.
  3. Along with handling a huge quantity of data, Informatica also provides services like data integration and software for a variety of industries like telecommunication, healthcare, finance, and insurance.
  4. Even though it has a high-performance nature, Informatica is a simple tool when it comes to developing, maintaining, and administering it.

These features make Informatica more beneficial than the conventional ETL process.

  • Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI): Microsoft Business Intelligence is one of the top-rated business intelligence and data mining tools. Below are some features that make it distinguishable in the market.
  1. Microsoft Business Intelligence allows its user to create interactive dashboards and scoreboards so that the visual output is having more of a creative touch than a dry one.
  2. Microsoft Business Intelligence as a tool has a well-integrated structure that allows it to create outputs that are both snappy and exact.
  3. It promotes optimized solutions for business intelligence queries.
  4. Uses visual studio with structure query language or SQL servers. This in turn allows businesses to access the most accurate information so that they can come up with improved superior decisions every time they use it.

As a BI tool, Microsoft Business Intelligence is categorized into three services, namely:

  1. SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)

As an SSIS Microsoft business intelligence is a platform for creating high-end performances and workflow solutions.

2. SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

As an SSAS Microsoft business intelligence is a platform for converting dimensional data into a multi-dimensional data model.

3. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Finally, as an SSRS, Microsoft Business Intelligence acts as an enterprise reporting platform that supports both dimensional and multi-dimensional data. As of reporting, it supports both traditional and interactive data that are delivered over the web.
