AI-Enabled Business Development & Client Engagement Associate Business Development / Sales Enablement / Client Engagement · India · Fresher to 6–12 months

Reports To: Business Head / Leadership Team

Role Overview: Work at the intersection of Business Development, Sales & Marketing, AI-enabled prospecting, Client communication, Lead generation, Account/project coordination and Outreach automation — able to take a broad objective like "find relevant prospects and start meaningful conversations" and independently figure out the research, tools, messaging and execution required. We're particularly interested in candidates who are AI-first — already using tools like ChatGPT, Claude/Cowork and Lovable to research, create, automate and improve their own workflows.

Engagement: 3-Month Stipend-Based Internship → Full-Time Conversion. This is not a conventional internship or entry-level sales role. We need someone comfortable experimenting with AI tools, learning fast, researching prospects independently and communicating with senior stakeholders precisely and professionally. Initial engagement is 3 months on stipend, with conversion to full-time based on performance, ownership and contribution.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Enabled Business Development

  • Research target companies, industries, markets and decision-makers; build and maintain prospect lists against defined ICPs.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, prospect identification and account intelligence.
  • Research prospects before outreach — identify triggers such as funding, product launches, hiring activity, digital transformation or expansion into new markets.

2. Precision Email Outreach

  • Draft short, relevant, commercially meaningful cold emails — no generic or overly promotional messaging.
  • Understand the recipient’s role and business context before reaching out; test and improve messaging based on response rates.
  • Maintain outreach trackers and follow-up schedules; support leadership with personalized campaigns.
  • Strong written English is critical — able to communicate a proposition in a few precise sentences, not lengthy generic paragraphs.

3. Sales & GTM Support

  • Support ICP identification, market segmentation, account research, persona mapping, lead generation and outbound campaigns.
  • Manage sales funnel: lead qualification, follow-ups, pipeline tracking and campaign performance analysis.

4. Sales Technology & Tools

  • Hands-on familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn: Apollo, HubSpot, Hunter.io, Loom, ChatGPT, Claude/Cowork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM/outreach platforms.
  • Loom knowledge is particularly valuable — candidate may create short personalized videos for prospects, internal stakeholders or client communication.

5. Client & Account Coordination

  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams; track project/action items and follow up on pending deliverables.
  • Prepare meeting notes, action trackers and client-facing communication; support account managers with research and reporting.

6. IT Services Understanding

  • No development background required, but should be comfortable with terms like software/web/mobile development, cloud, AI/ML, SaaS, staff augmentation and dedicated teams — enough to understand a client’s broad requirement.

Key Performance Areas (First 3 Months)

Evaluated primarily on learning ability, execution, quality and ownership — not just email volume.

  • Prospect Research — accurate lists, right decision-makers, clean usable data.
  • Outreach Quality — highly personalized, relevant, professional, continuously improving.
  • Lead Generation — qualified prospects generated, contribution to pipeline.
  • AI Adoption — effective use of ChatGPT / Claude / Cowork; identifies tasks to automate.
  • Sales Technology — working proficiency with Apollo, HubSpot, Hunter.io, Loom, LinkedIn, CRM tools.
  • Client Communication — professional written/verbal communication, accurate follow-ups.
  • Ownership & Execution — works independently, meets timelines, follows through on open items.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA (Marketing/Business/International Business/Sales) preferred. Other backgrounds considered with strong business acumen and communication.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates to 6–12 months in BD, Sales, Digital Marketing, Lead Gen, Account Management, Client Servicing, Project Coordination, IT Services, Staffing or Customer Success. Quality and ability to learn matter more than years.

Must-Have Skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English; concise, confident, professional communication.
  • Strong familiarity with ChatGPT and working knowledge of Claude/Cowork or comparable AI tools; curiosity to keep learning new ones.
  • Basic understanding of B2B sales, prospecting, lead generation and GTM; ability to research companies/decision-makers and write personalized outreach.
  • Exposure to Apollo, HubSpot, Hunter.io, Loom, LinkedIn, Google Workspace or CRM/outreach tools.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with an IT services company or interacting with international clients (US/UK/EU/APAC).
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold email campaigns or CRM management.
  • Experience creating Loom videos; basic understanding of website/software development.
  • Experience using AI to automate business workflows; exposure to account management or client servicing.

What We’re Looking For

  • AI-Native — actively uses AI to work faster and better, not just aware of it.
  • Curious, sharp and precise — communicates a business problem clearly, without fluff.
  • Commercially minded and proactive — focused on conversations, opportunities and revenue; doesn’t wait to be told the next step.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable — owns outcomes, not just tasks.

3-Month Stipend & Conversion

3-month stipend-based engagement with structured exposure to B2B sales, IT services, international BD, AI-powered sales workflows, GTM strategy and CRM. Full-time conversion is performance-based, evaluated on quality of work, learning ability, tool proficiency, communication, outreach quality, lead-gen contribution, ownership and overall business contribution.

Selection Process

  • Resume screening
  • Initial HR/leadership discussion
  • AI & technology familiarity assessment
  • Written email/outreach exercise
  • Prospect research exercise
  • Final discussion with business leadership

Candidates may be asked to demonstrate how they’d research a prospect, identify the right decision-maker and write a highly personalized outreach email.

Junior SEO Executive — Brand & Visibility Digital Marketing · Remote · Full-time, 6-month probation

Reports To: Mohit Chaudhary (COO) / Lakshay Bhatnagar (Digital Marketing Lead)

Role Overview: We are looking for a sharp, execution-oriented SEO intern to own Foreignerds' own digital presence and organic visibility. This is NOT a client-facing role — you will be responsible for making Foreignerds itself visible, credible, and discoverable across search engines, AI platforms, and industry directories. You will directly impact how prospects find and evaluate Foreignerds before they ever get on a sales call.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Visibility Monitoring: Track Foreignerds’ brand mentions and citations weekly across ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and Google AI Overviews. Document where we are cited, where we are missing, and recommend actions to improve AI citation presence.
  • Negative Review / ORM Response: Monitor and respond to negative reviews on Trustpilot, Glassdoor, and Google. Draft professional responses for Mohit’s approval. Flag any new negative reviews within 24 hours.
  • Daily Blog Publishing: Coordinate with the content pipeline to ensure 1 blog post per day is published on foreignerds.com. Handle CMS upload, meta tags, internal linking, featured images, and schema markup for each post.
  • On-Site SEO: Implement on-page SEO improvements across foreignerds.com — meta titles/descriptions, header tag structure, image alt text, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals monitoring.
  • Backlink Building: Execute guest posting, digital PR outreach, and directory submission campaigns to grow Foreignerds’ own backlink profile. Track referring domains monthly.
  • Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities and SEO gaps for the Foreignerds website. Feed findings into the blog content calendar and service page optimization priorities.
  • Clutch & Directory Management: Maintain and optimize our Clutch profile (5.0 rating, 51 verified reviews, Premier Verified status). Ensure all information is current, respond to new reviews, and push for additional verified reviews from active clients.
  • Third-Party Profile Updates: Audit and update Foreignerds’ presence across LinkedIn Company Page, Crunchbase, ZoomInfo, GoodFirms, DesignRush, G2, and any other directory where we appear. Remove stale ‘You Think. We Code’ / ‘Virtual Staff Augmentation’ positioning and align everything to our current AI-first service positioning.

Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of SEMrush or Ahrefs (can pull reports, track keywords, run audits)
  • Basic understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and schema markup
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
  • Ability to write/edit meta titles, descriptions, and alt text without supervision
  • Comfortable with WordPress CMS (publishing, formatting, basic plugin management)
  • Good written English — not creative writing, but clear and professional
  • Self-directed: can work from a checklist without being reminded daily

Nice to Have

  • Experience monitoring AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity) for brand mentions
  • Familiarity with Clutch, GoodFirms, or G2 profile management
  • Any exposure to GEO / AEO / LLM SEO concepts

Success Metrics (First 30 Days)

  • All third-party profiles updated to current branding within Week 2
  • Weekly AI visibility monitoring report delivered every Monday
  • 1 blog post published per day, zero missed days
  • Clutch profile engagement metrics (profile views, contact requests) tracked monthly
  • At least 10 new backlinks/month from relevant directories and guest posts

Compensation & Growth

  • Compensation: competitive monthly salary based on experience — discussed during interview
  • Employment: full-time, remote, 3-month probation period with conversion to confirmed role based on performance
  • LinkedIn recommendation and experience letter provided upon successful tenure
  • Real portfolio work: everything you build here goes live and can be referenced in your career

Junior Executive — Social Media & Content Digital Marketing · Remote · Full-time, 6-month probation

Reports To: Mohit Chaudhary (COO) / Lakshay Bhatnagar (Digital Marketing Lead)

Role Overview: We are looking for a distribution-focused intern who takes the content assets Foreignerds produces (case studies, blog posts, service page copy, thought leadership drafts) and gets them in front of the right audience across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, email, and community channels. You are not the writer — you are the amplifier. Your job is to ensure nothing we create sits idle on the website unseen.

Key Responsibilities

  • LinkedIn Publishing: Post 1 piece of content per day on the Foreignerds LinkedIn Company Page AND on the co-founders’ personal LinkedIn profiles. Content comes from a 30-post topic bank (already created) targeting US/UK/Canada CTO/VP/founder audience. Optimal post time: 6:30 PM IST. Track impressions, engagement rate, and follower growth weekly.
  • Case Study Repurposing: Take each completed PDF case study and turn it into 3–4 LinkedIn carousel slides, 1 Twitter/X thread, and 1 short-form summary post. Coordinate with Farheen (designer) for carousel visual assets.
  • Email Newsletter: Compile a bi-weekly email newsletter from published blog posts and case studies. Build and manage the mailing list, track open rates and click-through rates. Tool: to be confirmed (likely HubSpot or Mailchimp).
  • Community & Forum Posting: Post answers and insights on Quora, Reddit (relevant subreddits: r/webdev, r/SEO, r/startups, r/artificial), and IndieHackers that naturally link back to Foreignerds blog posts or case studies. Minimum 5 quality answers per week.
  • Twitter/X Management: Maintain Foreignerds’ Twitter/X presence — 3–5 tweets per week, engagement with relevant industry conversations, retweet/reply strategy for visibility in AI/SEO/dev communities.
  • Performance Reporting: Weekly report on content distribution metrics: total impressions, engagement rate, link clicks, follower growth across all channels. Flag what’s working and what’s not.

Required Skills

  • Active personal LinkedIn presence (you understand how the feed algorithm works)
  • Ability to repurpose long-form content into short-form posts without losing substance
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Quora, and Reddit as distribution channels
  • Basic Canva skills for creating carousel covers and social graphics (Farheen handles complex design)
  • Comfortable with email marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar)
  • Good written English — you’ll be editing and shortening, not writing from scratch
  • Organized: can maintain a content calendar and post schedule without missing days

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing a B2B company’s social accounts (not personal influencer accounts)
  • Exposure to LinkedIn Sales Navigator or LinkedIn analytics
  • Any experience with social scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or native scheduling)

Success Metrics (First 30 Days)

  • 1 LinkedIn post per day, 5 days/week, zero missed days
  • 5+ quality Quora/Reddit answers per week with natural backlinks
  • Bi-weekly email newsletter sent on schedule with >25% open rate target
  • Weekly distribution report delivered every Friday
  • LinkedIn follower growth: track baseline and target 15% month-over-month growth

Junior SEO Executive — Client Delivery Digital Marketing — Client Services · Remote · Full-time, 6-month probation

Reports To: Lakshay Bhatnagar (Digital Marketing Lead)

Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on SEO execution intern to support delivery across Foreignerds' active digital marketing client accounts. You will work directly under Lakshay to execute recurring SEO tasks — rank tracking, technical audits, content optimization, schema implementation, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build real client-facing SEO experience across multiple industries and geographies (US, UK, India, UAE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly Rank Tracking & Reporting: Pull keyword ranking reports from SEMrush/Ahrefs for all active SEO clients (currently 10–12 accounts). Compile into standardized monthly performance reports showing ranking movements, traffic trends, and key wins/losses.
  • Technical SEO Audits: Run Screaming Frog crawls on client websites, identify technical issues (broken links, redirect chains, duplicate content, missing meta tags, crawl errors), and document findings in audit reports for Lakshay’s review.
  • Google Search Console & GA4 Monitoring: Check GSC and GA4 daily for client sites — flag indexation issues, manual actions, Core Web Vitals failures, and significant traffic drops within 24 hours.
  • Keyword Research & Search Intent Analysis: Conduct keyword research for each client account, mapping keywords by search intent (informational, commercial, transactional, navigational). Identify ranking opportunities and content gaps based on competitor keyword profiles.
  • Content Briefs & Optimization: Prepare basic content briefs for new pages and blog posts (target keyword, search intent, recommended word count, H2/H3 structure, internal linking suggestions). Use Surfer SEO or similar tools to score existing client content against top-ranking competitors and create optimization recommendations.
  • Schema Markup Implementation: Deploy JSON-LD structured data (FAQ, Product, LocalBusiness, Article schema) on client websites. Validate using Google’s Rich Results Test and Schema.org validator.
  • Backlink Outreach & Digital PR: Execute link building campaigns under Lakshay’s direction — identify outreach targets, send personalized pitches, track placement rates and referring domains acquired per client.
  • Case Study Data Extraction: Pull historical SEMrush data for client accounts to fill in the Case Study Data Requirements sheet — baseline metrics, keyword-level before/after rankings, and traffic trends. This directly feeds the portfolio case studies being built.
  • Local SEO Execution: For local SEO clients — manage Google Business Profile updates, build citations on relevant directories, monitor and respond to reviews, track map pack rankings using grid ranking tools.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with SEMrush or Ahrefs (not just theoretical — can independently pull reports and run audits)
  • Familiarity with Screaming Frog for technical SEO crawling
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
  • Basic understanding of HTML (enough to implement schema markup and meta tags)
  • Ability to write clear, structured audit reports and optimization briefs
  • Comfortable working across multiple client accounts simultaneously (10–12 active)
  • Detail-oriented: rank tracking and reporting require accuracy, not approximation

Nice to Have

  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or WooCommerce CMS platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Business Profile management for local SEO
  • Any exposure to Surfer SEO, Clearscope, or similar content optimization tools
  • Previous agency internship or freelance SEO experience

Success Metrics (First 30 Days)

  • Monthly ranking reports delivered for all active clients by the 5th of each month
  • Technical audit turnaround: completed within 3 business days of being assigned
  • Zero missed GSC/GA4 alerts — all critical issues flagged within 24 hours
  • Case study data extraction: historical data for all 10 projects delivered within 2 weeks of onboarding
  • At least 5 backlinks acquired per client per month from link building campaigns
